MVHS JAZZ ENSEMBLE PROJECTS BY YEAR
We had a lot of good players develop at MV. Players that have kept going, and some good players that have let it slide for whatever reason. Here I have been able to find things from most of the years. For the most part the Big Band recorded two Charts each year as part of the monterey Jazz Festival next generation. That was a great thing that has stopped happening. It was a recording contest and the top 12 recorded bands would go to monterey and play live. We did that many times. Awesome festival.
